Lizzie and Cody
Lizzie and Cody are the most laid back chillest people ever. They didn't want much for their wedding, mostly to be the center of attention as little as possible.
I loved everything about their wedding, from the venue and food, to how they made it everything they wanted, they ditched the first dance, had their parents give speeches at the ceremony and then just had a really chill day.
The Start
After getting ready in the bridal room it was off for quick bridal photos. Red Butte Gardens has an amazing variety in photo locations, especially in the spring and summer. They also have an amazing staff member that drove us around in a golf cart and pointed out all the popular spots.
We made a quick loop and ended at their ceremony located in the Fragrance Garden.
The Ceremony
A simple ceremony in a beautiful garden and a stunning back drop, what could be better?
Lizzie and Cody opted for speeches from their parents instead of traditional vows and it was so beautiful.
After officially getting married the two walked down the aisle and had a moment to themselves before the chaos of congratulations and family photos.
The Reception
Red Butte Gardens has a stunning reception venue. It feels like you are in the middle of a green house. I couldn't take enough pictures of the greenery.
The food was also as delicious as it was stunning. The couple ditched the dancing and cake cutting but it wasn't missed as everyone had a great time chatting and catching up with family and friends.
